My friend came the other day and was surprised when she sees the automated lighting in my house. We have been using the timer for our outdoor lighting and also indoor ever since we moved into this home. Not only it is safer to have the house lit up when we come back home late at night, it feels good to see bright lightings greeting us when we reach home.
In fact, you can just use the timer for any kind of lighting designs, and also on your home electrical appliance to suit your living convenience.

Ok, more about Shirley’s delivery story.
Can you believe that she made it to the hospital just 5 minutes before her baby was delivered? Her water bag burst at 10pm and she quickly get herself ready at home. Having 2 little toddlers around and with constant contraction, she has difficulty moving so she had to stop in between. Only manage to get into the car at around 2am something and by the time she reached there, she was fully dilated! Before even manage to change into her hospital gown, her baby was pushed out!
Guess her poor hubby was already driving like crazy and luckily his car is using the supercharger so that he could speed. Furthermore it was in the wee morning and there wasn’t much cars on the road. Phiew…..

Even though we have a maid now, I still feel so tied with my girl. With her around, hubby and I feel very restless and tired as if she can never stop. Worst still, she hardly nap when hubby is around during the weekend. With the boys coming along soon, I cannot imagine how our life would be again, having to bring up little babies all over again. How I sometimes wish the children will quickly grow up soon so that hubby and I can travel again after seeing the photos of a friend who just had an adventurous experience with shark fishing from one of the Namibia safari hunting trips.

Just got an sms from my neighbour, Shirley who has almost the same EDD as me. She gave birth to her baby boy in the morning!
Last Friday, she was already dilated to 3cm, having slight bleeding. However after staying for a night in the hospital, she did not have any contraction and had to go back to work. Until this morning (almost exactly 1 week), she finally gave birth to her new baby.
Wonder when is my turn? *still anxiously waiting @ 37weeks*

Hubby used to work in the air-con sales line and love his first job. He used to handle very big projects and often use to tell me that how fun it is to visit to sites and how the air flow of the machine works. He had to deal a lot with the electronic cooling system as he was supplying the cooling system to big commercial buildings. They even used the simulation software such as CFD software for assistance to make their job easier.
An art person, no matter how much he explained to me, I could not understand a single thing but I do see the spark and excitement that he had for his job. He left his job five years after that.

When I first knew that I carry my twins, I was so worried when the doctors told me that they would arrive much earlier than expected. My first child was monitored closely towards the end of my pregnancy. Before reaching 37weeks, she was induced due to low amniotic fluid and born as an IUGR baby. Born only at 2.2kg, she developed some infection and had to stay in the NICU for one whole week. It has been traumatic for me, and I believe for her as well.
For the twins, I was advise to take some medication and injection by my private gynae to prevent problems from arising in case I deliver early again. Thankfully with some support and guidance from friends, I had to keep telling myself (and the babies) that I could bring them near to term naturally, and here I am in my 37th week, without any medication assistance!
Boys, congrats to yourself and thanks for helping Mummy too!

Have you been eating healthily? I have not, so is the whole family. As a part of our culture, or I should say our habit, we are eating way too much of oily fried food. And just imagine that we were so lazy that we also hardly exercise. This could actually lead to heart failure for anyone who has high blood pressure or heart disease and this matter should not be taken lightly.

A neighbour of mine who has the same EDD almost as mine told me that she could get a supply of Bentong ginger at only RM80 per 10kg from the market. Not sure how genuine is the ginger, I called up my SIL who is also selling it. She told me that her cost price is already RM90 and it sounds so impossible to be able to get it cheaper than her.
Then I called up another ginger vendor and was told that they might be just normal old ginger. There are basically 2 types of Bentong ginger, (RM150 per 10kg from Bukit Tinggi) and (RM110 from Raub). And the quality of the Bentong ginger from Bukit Tinggi is much better.
Sigh….really making me confuse now. Wonder how much you all buy your Bentong ginger out there?

Moving into my 36th weeks, I am feeling very tired by now. There is not much I can do at home, not even stay awake for long during the day. Feel like a big fat snake, I need to lie down and sleep most of the time. Although QQ is at school, she can still be quite a nuisance when she comes back in the afternoon. I am really glad that weekends are arriving, for hubby would be around to entertain her while I sleep in the room. And QQ is so happy, for daddy will bring her to the shopping since there is something he wants to get from the going on sale in the mall.
