You would not imagine what I am going through from the traumatic delivery, having to handle a demanding toddler at the same time followed by my failure to breastfeed the boys 100% breastmilk, then my worst fear, the boys’ hyperthyroid problem.
But at least after the confirmation 2 days ago, we are so glad that the boys condition is not as serious as what the rest of normal peads thought.
Result from Day 5 after birth:
Twin 1: Free T4 (21.5) (normal Free T4 : 9~19) with TSH normal
Twin 2: Free T4 (24.6) with TSH normal
Result: The level will go back to normal later (since they have already separated from my trouble body system). Instead the doctor is more worried about the mummy than the babies (let’s not talk about me here).
