Drumming for little boys

Learning to play drum is getting popular among little boys nowadays.

My little newphew just started enroll into his first drumming class last Saturday. Sister in law said he loves his first class and he is now looking forward to attend his second session tomorrow.

If he likes drumming and plan learn seriously, his father is even thinking to get him one drum set from Hiwatt. My boys are hopping that their little cousin will get his drum set very soon so they can play with it too, during weekends.

Preschool boys are fun to have

I find it is really fun having the boys at home now. They have certainly grown out of their terrible two, and best part is, their relationship gets so much better ever since they went into school.

Besides learning tremendously, the boys play a lot, in very well manner with each other. Each evening, I will try to take them out to play, to burn some energy so that they do not feel bored watching TV at home.

They love to cycle on their bicycle, chasing each other. I should buy them some cheap yo yo, so they can try out more stuffs that boys do.

Drumming for kids

Unlike his twin, Didi loves drum! Although Chinese New Year was a month ago, he is still very much into lion dance plus drumming (using utensils and our stool at home).

Perhaps I should just get him a set of nice drum set like those I saw at Remo Drum Heads. I bet he would be very happy if I enroll him into a drumming class. Any idea how much would it cost per month for kids classes like that?

Weekend is coming again

Weekend is around the corner again, and we have so much to look forward to this week. There will be a birthday party at a friend’s house and they have even invited the Mascot from A&W to come over to entertain the kids. My kids once went to a party at A&W and they love playing with the bears. Hence they are looking forward to tomorrow’s event now.

Just hope that I could make the boys get their nap in time tomorrow so they would have a great time tomorrow later in the evening.

Schooling boys

I can’t believe that my boys will be going to school, so soon, in another few days time. I think I have got everything ready for them, except for labeling their belonging. I have been wondering how to label their bags, their shoes, their water tumbler. Stickers with names would not stay on for long, for sure. If only I can get hold of some customized lapel pins, that would be best!

Potty trained?

My boys is potty trained by the age of 2. But at times, they still pee in their sleep at night.

So now I have to wake up in the middle of the night, to put the boys to pee just in case they have a full bladder. However there are times when I was too deep in sleep and my poor Korkor accidentally pee on our baby cot’s latex mattress! I think I should switch to use memory foam mattress again, until he can wake up to pee by himself.

Eating out is not easy

Although it is not easy to dine out there in peace with the boys, I still prefer dining in restaurant to enjoy the ambiance and while the food is hot. Hubby, on the other hand, prefers to take out food especially when the boys are making lots of noise. And because of this, sometimes you might see us eating out food from the pack inside our car, during outing while I busy feeding them behind the wheels.

Playgroup is fun

It has been almost 3 months since my boys attending the playgroup. Run by a church organisation nearby our place, not only the boys are looking forward to attend their play every week, even Mummy is looking forward eagerly to bring them there. Too bad QQ can’t join us, as she has to attend pre-school on weekdays. I hope to bring her there next year, when she goes to afternoon school in standard 1. Hope we have more leisure morning to laze on our outdoor chaise lounges next year.

Next month is our Birthday month again!

Time flies and now I have less than one week to prepare the kids birthday party. She already know what she wants for her birthday present so that will save her trouble from getting the right gifts for her. And since she just want a small party at home this time, I only have to prepare some foods upfront so that’s overly easy. Its the boys’ birthday party that I am more concern about now.

Chasing game

I have bigger bum now. Lack of exercise and sitting most of the time in front of the computer, I gain weight easily now. Although I am eating less, my weight still hardly goes down. Not even when I chase my very active boys (or probably I hardly chase them coz Kakak is doing all the job!)
