To Cameron Highland

It has been ages since we been to Cameron Highland. The last trip was way before we got married so the kids have not step foot on Cameron Highland. Finally we made our trip there few days back and it was beautiful. Weather was very cooling and it was really cold at the hotel we stayed. Too bad hubby forgot to bring his North Face jacket, hahaha, otherwise we could have take a stroll out there to enjoy the cool breeze.

Travelling Intinerary

It is holiday season over here in Malaysia again and I assume everyone is making their holiday plan at the moment. We initially planned one overseas trip, our very first one with the kids this year, but since our niece is getting married in the end of the year, we had planned another ad hoc trip up to the north too.

I have so many itinerary to prepare right now to various places and I kinda feel the excitement of the travel. I wonder if those who are in the Travel Counselor Jobs feels the same?

Flooded home

Our travel to Singapore was really fun. I should I booked another night so we could have more time to travel around to places of interest, but thank God we did not this time. When had a rude shock when we came back 5 days later. The level stopper inside our water tank somehow must been burst and all the water from our water tank overflow over the roof.

I used to buy cheap insurance to cover all our content from being damaged when they were new, but this time, I decided not to since most of our home items are already very old. Luckily there was not much damage except for the expanded cheap old wooden cabinets.

Frequent outing with the boys

Although it is hard to bring out the boys, travelling in the car, that does stop us from going out frequently. We have been going out to shopping malls every weekend ever since they turned 10 months old. We love moving around to see things and to enjoy dining out. By the end of this month, we planned another vacation again, almost as good as the destin deals we had sometime back.

Overseas travel

Bringing kids to travel overseas seems so common for my online friends these days. Although hotel and flight booking is very reasonable nowadays, with online tour agents and flight promotion. I must admit that not only it is too expensive for a family of 5 like ours, it can be very troublesome also especially when the kids are still at their tender age currently. I hope we will be able to visit the panama city one day as there is so much to see and do there.

Travelling with a caravan?

We are going to travel again very soon with the boys. Although trips are fun, there are really lots of things to be packed and carry especially we are travelling with three kids. It will be nice if we have own a caravan so we could just chuck everything we need inside. I wonder if the government will bring in some similar vehicles and allow them on road since we can always get the rv insurance for protection. This way, it will save us a lot hassle travelling with buggages.

Need a break again

I am starting to worry as my boys are now taking too much of my time. Instead of spending more hours in front of the laptop, now I have to chase them all day long. I can only run to my laptop once in a while to check and reply urgent emails/orders. Since my neighbour is hospitalized now, I had to send QQ to school myself and even pick up her and some neighbour’s kids. Sometimes I even take more than 24 hours to reply emails, which can be quite embarrassing especially when I am running on online business.

How I wish to take a break and have a nice stay at one of the new york hotels for a short vacation.

Penang trip postponed

Initially we planned to go to Penang during one of these holidays for food. Yes, I actually long for a treat and to be pampered at places nice places like the nice resorts, to be away from my work. Hubby even planned to get a GPS from the auto accessories shop so that we could drive easily around the island.

Then came the epidemic of H1N1, and we all got chicken out on travel. Even it is a long festive holiday this round, I was quite dissappointed that we did not have a chance to go to Penang. I guess hubby must have sensed my dissappointment and redirect us back home to Melaka for at least 2 nights stay. At least I still get to see my family and eat my favourite food in Melaka, thanks hubby!

Almost free again

One person certainly cannot live without friends around. Since the babies are now getting older and nurse for a shorter period, it is more convenient to bring them out. Yesterday we even manage to bring them to the playgroup in the morning and our monthly birthday celebration at the Buddhist Society Center in the evening. Well, our family outing now is quite convenient. I guess it won’t be long that I will be able to bring them for travel again. Hopefully at our next trip, I will be able to leave them for a few hours, when we stay over at the hotel las vegas for a game session.

A Gold Medal from my girl

I am a person who dislike sports. So do hubby. I used to be the last one when comes to running even. Also the one who runs away when a ball is passed to me. Not sure if my children would be like me when they grow up in future.

However I am glad to see the effort of my girl’s pre school in their mini Olympic even. She even made me proud by getting a Gold Medal as the sports gifts as a token.
